Week Notes 26#30

  • A busy week at work
  • Got accepted to the Claude for Open Source program
  • I've been looking, again, at rewriting my Micropub endpoint - it's been a long time on my list but I've never sat down with the time to do so - I'd like to get it into a nice place, but the time is always the difficulty. With that in mind, today I've been seeing if Claude can dig through my codebase, get some bits together to work out what features I've got and what'd need to be there, and then end up doing the rewrite, so I'm seeing if I can get Claude to make it easier and reduce some of my TODO list
  • Unfortunately not speaking at Open Source Summit EU, but looking forward to going regardless!
  • Unfortunately a pretty busy week so didn't get round to finishing off the Canada blog post
  • Had some fun sorting out my finances, and getting a much stricter budget, now I've got a sole trader account with Starling, so I can put my side business bits together
  • A nice walk with Carol and Alan this morning, followed by a nice lunch with Anna's parents
  • A nice lunch yesterday at Ramen and Maki after running some errands - was nice seeing some folks having a lovely Pride celebration πŸ³οΈβ€
  • My watch has started coming apart (~4 years later) and I've been looking at a new one, but if I can hold off until the new Pixel Watch is announced, I may be able to get a slightly older one for cheaper
