Week Notes 26#14

• Week Notes are later than usual because we were binging Last One Laughing UK, and enjoyed going to bed late with it being a bank holiday
• A fairly busy week at work, getting some more things in place to block malicious packages from being picked up by Renovate
• With the end of the tax year coming up, spent some time sorting out ISA allowances, paying into personal pension, calculating an estimate of my possible tax bill, and getting my Ledger setup updated for this year
  • And now it's 6th April, I can expect to get all the supporting documents I need in the next couple of days to submit it all!
• Working Man's Kitchen was closed on Thursday, so we had a difficult choice - what to do instead? We looked around a few busy places before going to Pizza Punks, which wasn't nearly as good, but at least we got some pizza!
• Neon had Cyberspace which was 🍻🔥
• Disappointing state of Easter eggs this year, not great quality
• Apex Legends' April Fools event was fun, but a shame it was only 24h - I didn't get to play much in the end
• One of the two big things this week was that Morph had a bit of dental work and a heart checkup
  • He came back a bit dopey and sleepy, and got onto my lap on the sofa and slept for ~2 hours (while I let Claude Code do some of my work)
  • It was a bit more involved than we thought and he's had a few teeth out, including one of his front canines 🥺 But he's been very brave
  • He's still getting used to his new mouth setup, so his tongue keeps blep/mlem'ing
  • He had a poo in his crate on the way home from his surgery 🫣 I was glad I wasn't driving so I could stick my head out the window 😹
  • We've had him on wet food this week which he's been loving (until he has licked all the jelly bits off) and Cookie has been most confused as to why she can't have it
• A nice Easter weekend hosting some of Anna's family
  • Busy in the kitchen doing chickens and a ham
  • Went to Clumber Park with the niblings for the Easter egg hunt and activities which was fun
    • We definitely underestimated how cold it would actually be though!
  • And was nice to see Cat, Bernard, D and D on Sunday as they were in the area
