Week Notes 26#07

  • A pretty brain exhausting week with a lot of things going on
  • Nice to have Marcin back, but it's been a lot of extra stuff to keep an eye on
  • A nice meal out on Thursday at Mesa to celebrate Anna's new job
  • At work, we've had two big threads of work leading to Thursday:
    • A security advisory we found on Monday
    • The release of our new Web UI for self-hosted customers, which my colleague Gabi has put some really great work into
    • Had some fun playing with Claude Code to try and build a prototype of my plans to provide in-web-UI documentation, similar to what I did at Elastic
  • Got some exciting news about oapi-codegen on Tuesday 👀
  • Been working on Rootly's Go SDK (as a paid contributor) this week
  • One morning Cookie was having such a good lil' dream bark and also included a bit of cute growling 🥰

  • The Bear
    • Finally got back on season 4 - very good (and intense) but some great character work
  • We're the Millers
    • Reminded of it with Will Poulter showing up again in The Bear
