Week Notes 26#05

• It's been a busy week at work with Renovate 43 coming out, with a number of breaking changes
  • As ever with the major release, there's a lot of work getting in the various changes, but then also making sure that we're getting things rebased and the release notes written up
• Made some more progress with some work-y blog posts, but less so given the major release - hopefully will be able to share about the maintainer dashboard I've built and the things it's helping with
• And a busy week at home with the self-assessment tax return deadline, which has taken up my brain power, even if I've not been working on it
  • I managed to get it all sorted and paid though, and not too stressed about it fortunately
  • And wrote about how I used hledger to share how I've found some useful tools for the future
• Had a nice walk at Gravelly Hollow with Carol, Alan and Dougie
• Very much missing the hoverboard in Wildcard, it was so fun zooming around and now it feels so very slow
• The front door key has started sticking, making us very nervous about us both leaving the house at the same time - we managed to look it up and found some not-WD40, which then has unstuck it very well 🚀
• This afternoon Morph's been cuddled up on the blanket next to me - including letting me wrap him up mostly as a purrito 🥰
• Had a nice takeaway from Mezza after our big walk - it's not as good as Rakki Rakkas, but still very good and nice to be convenient
• Managed to get my hair cut, which was long overdue, but a bit hard trying to juggle it around the release on Thursday, but it worked OK
• Had a nice pizza night
• Had some fun using crush this week to delegate out a few pieces of work (which I then reviewed in full)
• FOMO from FOSDEM was real, but it was nice to see some mentions like in Abigail Cabunoc Mayes's talk
