Week Notes 25#49

  • At work, fairly busy continuing with OpenTelemetry, and finalising my agentic Renovate blog post
  • My work to block significant levels of scraping on my website seems to have been in vain - so now I'm playing "cat and mouse"
  • Had a nice, chill, weekend
  • Had a nice walk with Carol and Alan this morning - and Cookie's been so sleepy this afternoon
  • Cookie cuddled up on a pile of my clothes in my office this afternoon πŸ₯°
  • Significantly burned my mouth on pizza on Saturday, but worth it πŸ˜‹
  • Tried the gingerbread Pepsi which was interesting - better when it's super cold
  • Grinch fries from McDonalds were interesting, quite liked it
  • A busy week getting the house Christmas ready (and looking good) and ahead of Anna's friends coming over for a wreath making
  • Cooked fajitas tonight which were nice

Reading:

  • Cibola Burn

Watched:

  • Stranger Things
  • Saturday Night Live (on YouTube)
  • Nobody Wants This
  • My Secret Santa
  • Haul Out the Holly: Lit Up
    • We accidentally started watching this (the sequel) and after about half an hour of things being a bit odd, realised and started the original
  • Haul Out the Holly
    • Which was also not good - but we managed to make our way through it πŸ˜… Just about
  • Forks Out: A Benoit Blanc Sesame Street Mystery
  • How The Grinch Stole Christmas
    • (The only representation of The Grinch I believe in)
  • Father Christmas Is Back
