Week Notes 25#40

• With most of my colleagues off for a public holidays, it's been a little quieter at work, but I've managed to still be fairly busy
  • Spent a good chunk of time on the Open Source project, dealing with us hitting the npm registry's size limits for number of package versions, and carrying on with improvements around minimumReleaseAge to secure the ecosystem
  • And started putting some work towards gh discussion todo to simplify the triage process for me, personally
• After years of Hacktoberfest being so big in my life, it was a shock to find it was October, and Hacktoberfest was here
  • Given there are potentially t-shirts available, I'm going to see if I can make it work
• Had a nice pub night with Capital One folks on Tuesday
• Had a nice lunch with Neeshu at Paste
• Had a nice walk at Gravelly Hollow with Carol and Juno
• Went to Alchemilla to celebrate my new job 🚀😋
  • Had a lovely time - was definitely an experience!
  • The food was pretty nice - not quite "blow your socks off" that we were expecting, but still nice
• Some awful sleep this week with Cookie hunting foxes - but thankfully a few stormy nights have meant she's not heard them around
• I'm not sure if y'all will be able to read this - a GitLab.com incident with their artifacts API has meant my site hasn't been updating all day
