Week Notes 25#29

  • The Eton Mess doughnuts at Lidl are very nice πŸ˜‹ (and expectedly sweet)
  • After last week's "format SQL code blocks inside Markdown files", I've now got my SQL files generally being auto-formatted which is nice
  • Was fun to be on #define this week - did better than I thought, was a fairly good guest, and was good on a re-listen, too
  • Had a good pub night on Thursday
  • Had a good first meeting with Kate
  • Was Anna's Uncle's birthday which was nice - nice to see folks, and a good spread of food
  • As we'd eaten fairly late, we didn't end up really needing much for dinner
  • Some maybe tough decisions to make
  • A good Rakki Rakkas tonight πŸ˜‹
  • Nice to meet Laura and Reuben who're looking after Morph next weekend

In DMD:

  • Found that the -example app's getting very heavily crawled by bots, and so is probably the reason the outgoing network traffic is super high (and costing me)
  • Making good progress on the final touches for my workshop at Manchester Gophers on Wednesday
    • Slightly higher pressure given a dream I had the other day which didn't help πŸ˜…

Watched:

  • Squid Game
    • Making a start on season 3
  • Unstable
    • Started watching season 2, and got about 2 minutes in before we realised we had 0 recollection of what'd happened, so started rewatching season 1
    • Which made it very tough and disappointing to watch season 2 😬
  • Loot
    • Starting with a season 1 rewatch
  • The Daily Show (on YouTube)
