Week Notes 25#27

  • Although I felt rested after holiday, this week back at work has been busy with a few things going on and definitely felt my mind being distracted and low energy - didn't feel to be the best guest host on Fallthrough this week, which I'm a bit disappointed by
  • Been a fairly toasty week again πŸ₯΅
  • Was nice to have Sarah here this weekend
  • At Sainsburys, some of the scanners were on their secret home screen (before the "customer app" was selected) and I was very interested to explore it, but was good and didn't
  • Not quite perfect pizza, so went for extra cheese - still good but prefer our "normal"s
  • Leftover pizza eating outside was made very difficult by a not-wasp trying desperately to land on it, making it quite annoying, and thankfully I swatted it away
  • Made a chunk of progress towards tidying the garage, while getting some bits out for Sarah, which was good - got rid of a load of old bottles of drink, too
  • Done some deep dives on Star Trek and then Mario Superstar Saga
  • Officially booked to speak at Manchester Go at the end of the month πŸš€
  • Cookie's been very cute and sleepy this week

In Dependency Management Data:

  • Done some cool bits of visualisation for Go (go directive and the toolchain/container image) usage for Infosec at work
  • Although I've not finished up my "how to" on use Evidence, I've continued to make progress towards it for the example project
  • Got DMD's example project's WAL issue sorted

Reading:

  • The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire

Watched:

  • Murderbot
  • Schitt's Creek
  • The Old Guard 2
    • Disappointing 😞
