As a very lonely, gay, British teenager, the portrayal of Seven of Nine in #startrekvoyager got me through. To watch the character come full circle and sit in her rightful chair in #startrekpicard was cathartic and utterly magnificent. Thank you so much, Captain @JeriLRyan.

Watched the final episode of Picard S2, and the series is a disappointment again. There are huge turning points for important characters, but they fall completely flat emotionally because there is *too much going on*. For the love of Q, @StarTrekOnPPlus, stop! Slow down!

I want to see the star trek timeline where they rescue locutus but can't un-borg him so he just wanders around telling everyone how inefficient and assimilatable they are, but makes friends in the process. Like "incorrect strategy, number one" but playing 3d-chess in ten forward

On 29th January 1996, "Threshold", the Star Trek: Voyager episode where Captain Janeway and Tom Paris turned into giant space newts and had babies first aired. In advance of #ThresholdDay we aim to answer a burning question: did Paris and Janeway fuck? If so, how did they fuck?

If you begin Star Trek: Voyager episode Spirit Folk at exactly 11:49:35 on New Year's Eve, Ensign Harold Kim will smooch a cow as the clock strikes midnight. Let's start 2022 on the right hoof, everyone.

Real talk: Garak was such a great combination of character & actor that he almost transcended the show & even Star Trek itself. They basically put an ambiguously gay John le Carré antihero into the middle of a space opera.

I’m under the impression that canonically Worf doesn’t like cats but simultaneously I cannot believe that a Klingon could not see a tiny kitten doing the classic tiny kitten move of going absolutely apeshit on something 10x its size and not respect it deeply

One thing I think a lot about is how humans are soft and weak looking and sounding next to Klingons, and how hard that must be for them to get used to. It’d be like if Earth were allied with a planet of Muppet Babies and had to take them seriously.

I caught up on #StarTrekDiscovery S3 in the last week and I just adore how they've turned Engineering into a big queer family with the two gay dads proud of their non-binary genius child, and the lesbian aunt who keeps popping round to give one-liners.
