Fun fact for non-lawyers: a significant number of commercial contracts suspend obligations that cannot be met due to an βact of God.β This is a real thing. I am not making it up. And weβre going to be fighting in courts for the next decade over whether a virus is an act of God.

My local Costco is out of Eggo waffles. A man & woman reached for the last box at the same time. Though he was there first by about 2 secs, the woman insisted they should go to her & her children. I KID YOU NOT, the man, who had his 2 teens w/him, replied, "Ma'am, leggo my Eggo."

Day 4 of WFH. Last night I baked our last potatoes as they were looking a little sad. We ate two, there was one remaining. I've run out of Tupperware because I'm saving every single last bit of food. I can't believe my final year at university has slipped away right before my eyes. Hard to process that I likely won't see any of my faculty in person again for the foreseeable future. I had my final lecture and I didn't know it would be the last one. A weird time.
