How to make this more clear? Any language allows SQLi. Suggesting "stop using PHP" is a ridiculous solution. A developer in need of education will still be in need of education if they switch to another language. How is this hard for people to understand?

Lots of science-y folks are posting this graph. But if there is one thing I have learned from being on the internet, it is this: Data/graphs: Not compelling to many. Kitties: Compelling to many. WFH ProTip: Set a profile picture in chat, jira, etc. It goes a looong way to make text feel more personal. And no, I don't mean a picture of your pet. A picture of you 50m away, or of your hand. A picture of your face or a semi-accurate avatar of your faceJustin 🤘 Garrison (@rothgar)Thu, 12 Mar 2020 16:47 GMT
Curious to know what the legal implications are if I take my son out of school effective immediately given the governments idiotic delay in officially shutting down the schools.

Working in a blog post on the six months after moving to Aberdeen. Topics to cover include remote work, starting climbing again, weirdly starting to run distances again, but what else should I cover?

Hey techfolk: We need to talk about social distancing, remote work, streaming media and Internet bandwidth. Because we‘re right on the cusp of a major ancillary coronavirus problem: Bottlenecking and Internet access issues.

Most of us just want autonomy, trust, and freedom. 😎 about.gitlab.com/remote-work-re…Darren Murph (@darrenmurph)Wed, 11 Mar 2020 00:11 GMT
I've got this set up on my own site against https://www.jvt.me/img/profile.png and it's really great. No more finding that image you want to use - it's just there. It's available automagically via my Microformats2 h-card, so it can be machine discoverable, too. But I agree with Terence, it'd be awesome to have some standardised way to pull it from all my services, though.
One tip for people working remotely who were previously working from the office: In every single message, assume there is a smiley ":)" at the end. If you don't do it, anything you read might feel different depending on how you interpret it. You're welcome :)Fatih Arslan (@fatih)Wed, 11 Mar 2020 12:07 GMT
