#Hacktoberfest is intimidating and self defeating in my opinion. How is a beginner strictly expected to contribute to a thing that makes an impact? I say this as someone who figured how to make a pull request a month ago

How people choose to grieve & process their loss after a miscarriage is no-one's business but their own. Miscarriage is already not talked about enough so anyone brave enough to share their story & grief openly, & initiate conversation about it, is to be applauded not criticised.
