Would be interesting for teams to have (informal) code review reviews once or twice yearly to calibrate nit-picking levels and gauge the split in focus between syntax, structure and UX/DX. You can write docs for this stuff but I think many of us can learn from each other.زهرة || zahra (@zahrataiba)Wed, 12 Aug 2020 11:02 +0000

Do you use the Web PKI? Anything written in Rust? Wasm? Do you like Let's Encrypt? Do you support net neutrality? Are you opposed to Oracle's position in the Google Vs Oracle APIs debate? Then even if you never touch Firefox, you have things to be thankful to Mozilla for.Mark Goodwin (@mr_goodwin)Wed, 12 Aug 2020 07:05 +0000
Mozilla's work on Firefox is a drop in the ocean of the impact Mozilla has. Advocacy, policy, research, developer tooling, standards work. I don't know what your specific issues with Mozilla's current behaviour are (happy to discuss) by I respectfully disagree. We need them.Mark Goodwin (@mr_goodwin)Wed, 12 Aug 2020 07:02 +0000

I have been going back and forth over whether I should post this, but here it is. Today is 1 year since my last and most serious suicide attempt. I am thankful to the stranger, police and paramedics that saved my life that night. Because of you I have a future. This is me today.

Git worktree is the best 🙌🏼 https://www.jvt.me/posts/2019/01/29/git-worktree-multiple-branches/
Having seen some vile comments on otherwise sensible threads, I'm rather pleased with this ability to limit replies. I don't see it as much different to moderating comments on your blog. Yes, Twitter is a walled garden, but that doesn't mean you can't prune the weeds.Terence Eden (@edent)Tue, 11 Aug 2020 18:58 +0000
"Approximately 250" of the best folks I've worked with are looking for work today. While it hurts to see friends lose their jobs, the growing fear of a web wholly controlled by big tech is more uncomfortable. The world needs Mozilla. *You* need Mozilla. Use it or lose it.Mark Goodwin (@mr_goodwin)Tue, 11 Aug 2020 14:50 +0000
Glad to hear I was able to help!
Friend breakups (I mean good, longterm, very close and intimate friendships) are, in my experience, much more emotionally devastating than romantic breakups. And yet, unlike romantic relationships, we have almost no socialization (even in media images) on how to navigate them.

Which Microformats library are you using? Aimee Gamble-Milner wrote one recently which may help, if the one you're using isn't as maintained?

So sorry to hear that, sending love 🤗
Very excited to be hosting Lorna Jane at this week's PHPMiNDS talking all about OpenAPI - hope you can join us to understand some more about how you can better document your APIs! More details are on the PHPMiNDS website, phpminds.org

I'm a vital and valued member of the #TechNott organising team - what do I do? I make a great beeping noise to signal the end of a 5 minute lighting talk 😂Anna 🏠 (@anna_hax)Mon, 10 Aug 2020 19:13 +0000
Your blog should be written at a reading level your preferred readers would understand. Remember that English is not everyone's first language. Be mindful of using idioms and more complex words in your articles.

If it's so imperative to control the virus, why aren't the government putting their marketing budget to tell us about, perhaps, the most successful strategy for doing so: wearing a mask?

Hey! You know Google Meet? Did you know there is a Google Meet chat bot for Google Chat? But, guess what!? Google Chat's Google Meet has *nothing* to do with Google Meet! Google Meet is for scheduling meetings, obviously. Whereas Google Meet is a video call service. #GoogleMeetTerence Eden (@edent)Mon, 10 Aug 2020 16:11 +0000

Usage of observational skills is something necessary that you should learn first. You’ll need that for CTFs and bug hunting and it’s apparent you are currently lacking it.
