Just spoken to my son who is a student in Scotland. They are now not allowed to visit each other’s flats, banned from going to pubs & all tuition is online. So they’re getting in debt paying huge amounts of rent & fees to stay imprisoned in their rooms. This can’t be right

My personal fave is to make sure I always report any bugs I find cause I think they’re unaware of them. As if there’s not a developer really pissed off already that this easy fix bug still hasn’t been prioritised after months 😅

Glasgow University has confirmed they are aware of two significant clusters of Covid-19 in their student accommodation buildings. They say the number of cases since the start of term is 124 but “the actual number is likely to be higher”. 600+ students are self-isolating.
