Okay, so. My dad died late Saturday night/early Sunday morning. He had ALS, so we knew it was coming, just not so soon. We were going to go see him in the new year, but now we're having to work out flights and tests and everything. I don't have details. I just miss him.

sorry, really disagree that it’s just an aesthetic. cynical tweets about other companies do great on twitter, so hugops is a less trendy but more empathetic response from a specific part of the field recognizing job complexities; a _more_ advanced conversation IMO.

Really happy to see the Test For Coronavirus service now making notifications of tests optional - a sign of great #ServiceDesign following user feedback, and continually improving the service. Not only does it remind me something I've literally just done, but saves a lot of money for not sending notifications to people who don't need them. I appreciate that some folks may still want it, especially if you're testing for someone else, so it's great to get that level of control
