The way I did it is to arrange the mortgage with the longest term possible so that the required monthly payment is low, then choose a monthly payment I'm happy with. It doesn't feel like overpaying then, and you've given yourself some headroom if you need to take a payment break

We are only just about now reaching the point where I would have argued that a new startup should start on k8s on the technical merits, but the staffing and skill distribution is way out in front. A similar thing happened with golang a little bit earlier.
