It infuriates me every time I see Lunduke make ignorant remarks when it comes to LGBTQ+, racial prejudice, and his own white male privileges. Nevertheless, discrimination on religious beliefs is also wrong and his right to call it out should be protected irregardless.

That's an exaggeration, if you've done `git status` and have seen what would be staged, then `git add .` can be okay, but even then we'd be better recommending `git add -pi`, which allows interactive staging of files; no more committing stuff you didn't mean to.

Tech conferences are something that I will never understand. I usually lose the speaker in the first 2 minutes and spend the rest bored. In general I don't think presentations are a good way of conveying technical ideas. I find live coding in particular super confusing.
