So… any update on this? You’ve raised prices, failed to support modern macOS, and effectively made me feel foolish for choosing Dropbox at this point.

My heart is broken. Today my brother Scott passed away unexpectedly. He was so young. He had a loving wife, two young kids, and a newborn. It will take a community to get through this, and I will absolutely be asking for everyone's support to help get the family through this.Josh Simmons (@joshsimmons)Tue, 21 Jun 2022 00:18 +0000
I miss Dropbox (the product) circa 2012. It was perfect. It was done. A growth mindset forced all sorts of weird products that I don’t want. I miss the small, lightweight, always works file syncing. This seems like a renewed opportunity for a small lifestyle company.

Do you mean for workflows that would only run on ie main? Or have you got it configured so PR builds of workflows don't use the new workflow definition until its merged?
If I’m CC’d I think “oh someone just wants me to see this interaction but they don’t need my input” but if I’m in the Send To field I assume they expect a response from me

CC field is just a visual threat for the person who the email is being sent to.
liz (@awomanhollering)Tue, 21 Jun 2022 18:36 +0000
the day I found out that CCing someone has the exact same impact as just adding their email in the “send to” field is the day I realized all of adulthood and professionalism is just a facade

It's simple "CC" is for passive aggression "BCC" is for gossip and snitches. Those options makes up the full, tepid spectrum of professional personas, or "prosonas" as they hate to be called.Leo (@thisisathingido)Wed, 22 Jun 2022 00:20 +0000
Are you going to #OSSummit? I will be bringing "secret swag" Open Source Dumpster Fire challenge coins with me. There are rules though, to get one you have to: 1. Find me (try the AWS booth?) 2. Tell me one of your open source stories or trade me something cool. 3. Get coin.Tom "spot" Callaway 🇺🇸🇺🇦 (@spotfoss)Fri, 17 Jun 2022 16:16 +0000

It's incredibly worrying that the UK Government wants to bypass a court that was setup to *checks notes* prevent future Nazis from doing Nazi things. If you're cheering this on, just remember - you're a human too. The rights being removed are your rights too.Post details
The government is announcing a new plan today to allow it to ignore the European Court and deport asylum seekers to Rwanda. Looks like GitHub Copilot is going public as a paid product! I have to admit that their "first hit is free" strategy worked perfectly, writing code without it is now somewhat painful and I'll happily pay for it

It won't. The model is a derivative work and at the very least it's infringing copyright on every AGPL work it was derived from. Depending on what's distributed and how, it likely also infringes all GPL works.

Folks, your friendly neighborhood Muslim here. Please don't use Islamic terms to describe the fascist movement in America. It isn't Sharia, which allows abortion, or Islamic law or the Taliban. It's white Christian nationalism. Name it. The radical movement is homegrown.

Tell me why then is the average price per gallon in the UK $5.79? Or France $5.54? Why is it $6.76 USD in Canada? Biden has nothing to do with it. It’s the oil comapnies being greedy. Plain and simple. No amount of blaming Biden will change that. Holding those responsible will.
