Our shows have chapters baked in now, whoop whoop! This post details some of the challenges we had to overcome to get that done, including a brand new open source Elixir library for reading & writing ID3v2 tags.

There have been discussions in the aftermath of the log4j vulnerability about whether or not open source is broken or sustainable, what we can do to improve the sustainability of the open source ecosystem moving forwards, and the entitlement of users and companies in expecting maintainers to fix their problems.

This certainly happened, but I don’t think it was ever “the standard”. The fact that it worked, though, made me stoked 100% of the time. I’ll counter with the fact that when this happens, it almost always worked fine for the user.

I've never been good at to-do lists - I never remember to actually look at the list, and if I set notifications I often miss or ignore them. Sometimes I just put events in my calendar when I need to do things. Anyone like me & got a better system that actually works for them?
