What really fucks me off is that there are protests against this blocking the bill rubbish but I’m now too scared to protest in case I get arrested, because I’d lose my job at the bank. But that’s exactly what the govt wanted isn’t it. I wasn’t planning on doing anything illegal but given that someone literally got arrested for a placard that said ā€œfuck imperialism, abolish monarchyā€ I don’t even know what’s ā€œallowedā€ any more
