Merging the legacy blue tick and the paid-for blue tick is a masterstroke of trolling, it must be said. It does kinda render the whole "why is this account verified" dialog box redundant, though.

According to leaks, Twitter’s verification system doesn’t support mass deletion of legacy blue checks which is actually understandable. Why would you need to design the need to bulk unverify all the verified users in the system? No one anticipated the whims of a genius CEO.Post details

no, i didn't ask that, because i already know that it can. why wouldn't you research this BEFORE you released the tool? why would you publish a blog post advertising the tool that shows how it characterizes a union strike as a "risky protest"?Post details
You also asked: "Can this be used against unions organizing protests against their company?" This is not a use case we have seen. We are going to do more research next week and determine if organizations rely on news and journalists to discover strikes.

Ive said it before, I’ll say it again: actors, start adding clauses to your contracts that fight dialogue you did not sign off on being put in your mouth. They’ll make it seem innocuous, even helpful in vids like this, but it can be used maliciously. You’re more than avatars. twitter.com/flawlessai/sta…Post details

In software engineering I tend to have a rule that if a lot of your senior engineers don’t buy into an practice, pattern or tool, you should reflect over forcing it. They’re smart people who are probably not resistant for fun, but because they don’t see the benefits you do. There may be a couple of ways to shift the debate if after reflection you think it is still important to drive the idea.

No shit, sherlock. What’s not common is asking engineers to work on an “open source” repo which can only be used by a single, for-profit company.
