The BBC lost the broadcast rights to Monty Python to the Monty Python group in a court case in 1976 and they've since been sold by the members to various networks including UKTV & Netflix. But why let facts get in the way of your victim complex?

Can anyone ( including BBC employees ) tell me why the BBC has not shown Monty Python for a couple of decades ?
