Taking vacation is not a solution if you are out of bandwidth. When on vacation, things on your backlog is piling up and creating more stress. If overload is momentary, people sometimes fake vacation to go through their piles before taking a real vacation. twitter.com/carnage4life/s…Post details
One of the challenges with taking PTO is that work doesn’t stop and you’re underwater when you come back. Syncing a week long PTO across the company makes time off more restful as opposed to stressful.
