I think it's more that if you install via the official packages in a Linux distro (as most will) then the packagers would have patched the code to nag the user out of the codebase, as distro maintain versions for a different lifecycle than Docker expects

Yes, currently just working through getting the frontend working, and while doing that I'm iterating through a few of my posts to see what data needs to be restructured so it works within the Vibrancy Micropub setup, but it's a much better setup than I've currently got, so I'm very motivated to get it working!

You may be interested in https://github.com/voxpelli/webpage-micropub-to-github - in the #IndieWeb community we've worked on a standard call #Micropub which allows you to use a number of clients (mobile and desktop) which interact with a Micropub server. There's a tonne of clients available, including the one I'm replying to you from, right now!

I currently support this, with tokens issued the resource=https://www-api.jvt.me/ which, following RFC8707 allows redemption at any of the sub-paths of that resource such as https://www-api.jvt.me/micropub.

The main one is that having it as a machine-parseable format means:

• a job site could auto-parse it and import it when doing applications for a job
• different clients could look at rendering the same structured content

I got to have one when I was in post-surgery when I had a ruptured appendix, and they're amazing! I recommend them to everyone who may ever get the opportunity to have it

So far still feeling pretty alright, no sore arm yet, and aside from a bit of a headache - that's likely due to not a lot of water while we were out in the sun today - I'm feeling good
