I got A*AAAA in my A-levels (I did 5) from a state comprehensive school, and was denied a place at Oxbridge. Toby Young got BBB and got in because of his dad. Nobody (not least he) has the right to tell anybody they don’t deserve their place, or that the bar is being lowered.
