For the latest role we’re hiring for, I’m sending the interview questions to candidates ahead of time. Most roles don’t require working under pressure so why create pressure? I’d rather use our time to evaluate how folks prepare (arguably a greater skill).

Using popular things is sucky. When I have an issue with macOS or Windows, search results are dominated by SEO'd junk articles with little to no information. When I have an issue with Linux, search results are usually awesome and get me directly to the juicy information.

Ableism in particular has saturated everything without remorse. So many ableist words are used as lazy shortcuts to convey ideas by so many folks, including those who are otherwise relatively “progressive”.
