If it’s important, I’ll accept the meeting but it at least forces people to *ask* before dropping a meeting smack dab in the middle of my focus time. I’ve also found that people usually have other time blocks to choose from, they just prefer my focus time.

My spouse’s workplace is US & Europe-based, many people have never met in person. They’re having a company-wide retreat at a corporate campground next month. Each night, everyone will be assigned a *new* roommate. At *random*. I would love to know people’s thoughts about this.
