I’m still trying to get my head around the idea that @BorisJohnson🤡 had a general anaesthetic early in the morning, and yet somehow was up to two parties late the same night. I had a GA last year. I just can’t square this with my experience at all.

Not one party but two 👀 Just hours after PM had minor op on sinuses under general anaesthetic he gave a "short and funny" speech to donors at the posh V&A bash. He was later spotted, along with much of the Cabinet, at Rupert Murdoch's summer party at the Serpentine Gallery.

Now that Microsoft is getting rid of their non-compete agreements, it’s worth remembering that Amazon *will* enforce theirs. Anyone taking a job there - esp if a senior one - should budget to get paid above the market to cover 6-12 months of unpaid vacation after leaving Amazon.
