Well some of us go out to build apps that are much easier to manage and maintain to *try* to avoid legacy. This gets us in to trouble with people who think that the important thing is "going fast" which means they invariably "break things". Unfortunately, they often "break me".

I see "regulated" as an excuse for bad process entirely too often. I've worked in regulated environments. Auditors were perfectly happy with TDD tests as specs & git logs as an audit trail. You don't need bureaucratic process & artifacts & heavyweight surveillance tools like Jira
