1. I like maths, I think it's a vital skill. 2. Sunak doesn't give a fuck about maths skills or education. He wants a headline that isn't about NHS crisis, fuel costs or strikes. 3. If people were more numerate they'd know when inflation is 10%+ a 5% "rise" is a pay cut.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Netflix have done irreparable damage to their brand by constantly cancelling things, they have effectively trained their own audience never to get invested in any of their shows. It's short term cost-cutting, long-term harm.

Starting the year with a training session with our new junior developer. A wholesome way to start the year because I'm getting them into blogging!

I was oncall over christmas and as a result I've got four days in lieu I can take back. I'm thinking of taking four Fridays off in a row and just have a month of long weekends rather than blow my load all at once. It's going to be niiiiice.
