Pay someone for editing, that’s at least what lots of people are doing — and thank you for highlighting how much time it takes — I (try to) create a blog for every video, it just takes a lot of time
Jack ReVelle found and defused two nuclear bombs that accidentally fell on North Carolina. He couldn’t talk about it for 50 years. He fought the VA to prove his cancer was caused by radiation exposure. He died, quietly, 3 years ago today. Here’s his story: ncrabbithole.com/p/jack-revelle…
There should be a plug-in or feature for Twitter that says
“Sorry, this same opinion question has already been asked 1,387 times, it looks like you are just trying to build disingenuous engagement, If you want actual answers, ask at StackOverflow.com”
You are no longer building the product. You are building a team that will build the product.
What can you uniquely do to help the team move forward? Delegate the rest - trust but verify.
hey i’m deleting this app for awhile because there have been far too many viral tweets about my boobs this week i love you all and will catch you in a bit !
The video is so bad they fired and charged the cops involved.
It’s so bad they’re preparing for rioting.
It’s so bad the police chief has a message out saying she understands the outrage.
Now imagine if there wasn’t a video.
We need a new Twitter bot to auto block people using AI generated avatars.

Amazing that in just 12 months the top story has changed from “nobody wants to work anymore,” to corporations firing thousands of workers bc the economy was “running too hot.”
Yeah, but speaking personally, if I saw that someone’s religion gave them the power to choke someone with psychic powers, I’d respect that religion and maybe want to study it more.
Over the past few weeks you, the community, have made your voices heard. And we’ve listened. OGL 1.0a will remain untouched AND the entire SRD 5.1 is now available under a Creative Commons license.🧵 spr.ly/60113jcGR
A question for #infosec practitioners.
I've found an abandoned AWS bucket from a very large company. It serves all the images & fonts in their billing emails.
I defensively registered it to prevent an attacker from injecting malicious content into the emails I receive.
Then I emailed their security.txt contact to inform them and offering to transfer it back (for free, obviously).
Was that the right thing to do? Should I have waited for a response from them before securing the bucket?
I took Taco to the vet today. They made it clear that his pain issues are now chronic. I tucked that thought away for most of the day, but it came back to me as I took him on his late walk just now.
He’s getting old and I don’t know how I’m going to be able to handle that.
Try managing this when you’re neurodivergent.
Oh, there’s a secret set of norms you’re just supposed to know and conform to? Good luck!

Now that I no longer work there, I will say that something I really disliked about Google (and this may just be a Big Tech thing and not unique to them) is how much of the job was self promoting and the theatrics of demonstrating impact.
Don't use frontend (disabling right click... lol) or obfuscation (putting high quality images in the same s3 bucket with a suffix of -xxlarge rather than -small) to stop me downloading an image. I WILL find it and I WILL download it
I started dressing way more conservatively when I started making tech content because I didn’t want people to say I was only getting followers because of how I looked. But they still say it anyway so 🤡
ADHD is having every childhood authority figure tell you you’re gifted and have such potential, but you’re wasting it by being too lazy, spacey, selfish, or failing to “apply” yourself.

Paid a bunch of ADHD tax today.
Also… ADHD tax implies the existence of ADHD tax returns.
Do I have to send my ADHD tax returns to HMRC (His Majesty’s Ritalin and Concerta)?
The mass layoffs aren't about a recession, they're about stopping wage growth.
The Fed's rate hikes aren't about inflation, they're about stopping wage growth.
The "quiet quitting"/"nobody wants to work" narratives aren't about productivity, they're about stopping wage growth.
