I want to reiterate it was BUILT and ready to go as well. Great job guys. My face, and plenty of others who don't work there are also still all over it 👍Lex Lofthouse (@Loftio)Fri, 03 Feb 2023 15:56 GMT
What do I look like? Depending how close or far away you are, this is what I looklike. I'm in these imgs, looking from the source. I can't even see my own head from my perspective. Imgs can't quite capture what I see. I'm an object to you, but a subject to me. I am a shapeshifter

Guys, you desperately need to talk to copyright lawyers; you're going to get sued into oblivion if you use this. It's not 'one neat trick' for escaping copyright law. It's a stone cold loser, legallyAkiva Cohen (@AkivaMCohen)Sun, 05 Feb 2023 02:34 GMT
My guy, creating a derivative work is a copyright infringement. This doesn't "turn images royalty free" it opens you up to *massive* copyright damages (running the AI on images will be evidence of willful infringement).

Twitter closed the APIs off more after that and killed a lot of third party apps. The company was just in the process of showing third party devs that it could be trusted again when the sale to Elon happened.
@richburroughs@hachyderm.io (@richburroughs)Fri, 03 Feb 2023 22:42 GMT
It’s the reason Twitter still exists. The platform took off originally because people were building third party apps to do all kinds of things that weren’t possible in the client. They were implementing features that people wanted before the Twitter dev team could.

truly hope that nobody writes a twitter API library using the official client’s API keys, as that would almost certainly violate their terms of service. these are the keys that they would want to avoid using: gist.github.com/shobotch/51600…April King 🌀 (@CubicleApril)Thu, 02 Feb 2023 17:00 GMT

Attached: 1 image Holy shit, it works! I am officially a full-time #ProfessionalMaintainer ✨🧑💻💼 That means I spend most of my time on #OpenSource maintenance, and I offer retainers to companies that benefit from my work and from access to me. I now have six amazing clients: Glasklar Teknik AB, Protocol Labs, Latacora, the Interchain Foundation, Smallstep, and @tailscale@hachyderm.io. I am excited and relieved to announce this, and wrote up a bunch of details on how I got here and where it's going. https://words.filippo.io/full-time-maintainer/?source=Mastodon
