I've suddenly made tremendous progress this morning on updating my website: a few warnings to clean up, a smidge of tweaking headers, footers, etc. Then I'll roll it out! I just had a discussion about this a few months ago. They were under the impression that y2k was a ‘flop’. I explained that it was a flop because we spent ten months changing lines of code to accommodate the 2000’s. Had we done the covid lockdowns correctly, that could have been a flop too.

@Edent@mastodon.social and the most annoying part is that I'd rather go to these events to meet people such as yourself! It's just that they tend to take place in crowded rooms full of people with poor social skills. :(
