Today we went to a cafe (one that serves both Horlicks and Bovril, to set the scene), and I ordered the biggest breakfast on the menu. When it arrived, I found out that my dear wife Sonia had made a bet with our friend about whether I would finish it. The worse bit is SHE TOOK THE “he won’t tho” SIDE OF THE BET

Overheard someone loudly conducting a job interview on a table nearby in my office, and they just used the sentence "We're only a small team here so we all wear a lot of different hats" and THEY'RE NOT EVEN WEARING A HAT

The word "Trainspotter" is an anagram of "I, Trans Potter". If I were any good at art, I'd draw a cartoon trans Harry Potter noting down steam train numbers in their little book. Morning!
