It can often be very helpful to learn from folks in other programming communities. For example, something Rubyists know that JS/TS folks could learn is to not pay any attention to what DHH has to say.

one of the onboarding projects for one of my coworkers was sun-setting a website. turn it into a static site, preserve the URLs, make it obvious that it's there for posterity but no longer being updated. years later she thinks that's one of the most satisfying feels: there is a process for letting things go. 🍂

People who keep shouting it's unethical to be on Twitter now I have some fucking questions. You still buying at fast fashion outlets? Driving cars? Flying in airplanes? You eating Tyson Chicken?
