Today, we're excited to announce ngrok-go, our idiomatic Go package for embedding secure ingress directly into your Go applications. If you’ve used ngrok before, you can think of ngrok-go as the ngrok agent packaged as a Go library.

One of the reasons that PayPal was successful is that when Elon started his not shipping stuff, blaming and disparaging his best engineers, and demanding untimely and unnecessary "whole system rewrites," Peter Thiel fired him immediately. I'm not a Thiel fan... but I understand.

Not a drag queen, not a trans woman, not a librarian, not a non-binary elementary school teacher. A youth pastor. Another youth pastor. kbtx.com/2023/03/07/leo…

We must wish for a genderless society. As long as society determines what a gender expression must be, and who is allowed to express it, the result will always be the same: the oppression of the gender role incapable of overpowering the other.

Code coverage for integration tests, available in Go 1.20.

A thing about Mastodon that I didn't realize I'd missed from pre-algorithm Twitter is the sheer randomness of the content. No longer honed to be hyper-engaging (usually by being scary or enraging) I now see weird experiments, fun scientific papers, random shitposts. Of course it's not all exactly in my wheelhouse, but that makes it simultaneously more *interesting* while being less *addictive*. The whole experience feels a lot healthier for my brain.

@www.jvt.me@www.jvt.me this can be a security risk, which is why many APIs don’t have it — if there’s a successful XSS attack, then an attacker can find out which account they have control of 😔
