Also please don’t apply to senior roles with $120k salaries. It hurts the profession 😔

I mean I have a very busy-looking Github graph (if you include private repos) because I use GH as a synchronization tool for my notes. Not much code in there. The code repo host is on my Pi. Just agreeing that yeah pretty colors are a measure of nothing but pretty colors.

What if they use Gitlab? Or their contributions are not public? Either way, contribution graphs mean nothing.

Seeing swathes of people suggest that “ADHD is made up” is wild. Try living in the brain of a person that has ADHD, you wouldn’t last a minute.

Genuine gratitude to the person who just stood and waited for the bus with me when they noticed someone was threatening me. There aren’t enough people like that in the world.

I’m honestly still pretty shaken up about this. Ten straight minutes of having someone screaming threats of gendered violence at me, and following me when I tried to get away, is a scary experience! The stranger who stepped in really did make a huge difference.
