“Stop tweeting about your intergenerational pain and trauma while I feel sympathy for someone who I’ve never met. Have you no shame”

Remarkable. The US President ordering all flags on public buildings throughout America and on its embassies around the world to be flown at half mast until the Queen’s funeral in ten days time. Can you imagine this happening for any other human on this planet?

May fond memories of the lavish royal funeral warm the kingdom’s hearts this winter as they struggle to warm their houses.

The funniest part is that he was her favourite Doctor?? Imagine her saying "One shall pop on a bit of Nine and Rose" and meanwhile he's tweeting "God I hate the Queen, hope she steps on a lego"

The Met quietly tweeted this out about their killing a Black man in the hope everyone was looking elsewhere right now.

Does this mean she's getting rid of the queen or most of her party (who were born into money, went to Eton, and that's the only reason they rule)? twitter.com/sectorwriter/s…

If you're using an iPhone, I suggest downloading and using Signal instead. It's only E2EE if your friends use it too, but at least your texts between you and signal friends will be encrypted. Anything you send to android friends using iMessage aren't.

Shannon Morse (@Snubs)Thu, 08 Sept 2022 12:45 +0000

What a privileged rich man answer. Tim Cook / Apple don't care about E2EE across platforms. They just want your money.

Post details

"I don't hear our users asking that we put a lot of energy" into RCS, says Tim Cook in response to a question at Code. "I would love to convert you to an iPhone." "I can't send my mom certain videos," says the questioner. "Buy your mom an iPhone," says Tim.

It is also the duty of civil servants to accurately report the reality of the situation. It is not their fault that tory policies are incompatible with it.

I'm told by a Home Office source that civil servants got no parting message from Priti Patel, not even a brief thanks for their work. Apparently this is v unusual for a parting home sec Quite telling of Patel's relationship with and treatment of her staff while she was in office

I'm old enough to remember Steve Jobs in 2010 saying that they used open protocols for Facetime and that they'd publish them the next day. Still waiting.

Also, quiet quitting isn't a thing. It's just a way for the media to make you feel bad about just doing the requirements of your job and not giving your employer free labour.
