We built all of GitHub, with zero initial funding, with absolutely no grind culture of any kind, ever. I promise, whatever Thing you're building, it does Not Need culturally enforced exploitation to happen

Oven is going to be a grind, especially the first nine months or so. If work-life balance to you means a lot of time spent not working, it’s probably not a good fit right now.

I'm cleaning up my drive -- I keep screenshots of things managers wrote that were emotionally abusive The following message was sent in a company-wide channel after I launched a community program -- without speaking prior And this is why I hated working for blockchain startups

Seems like @render can't help themselves either.

This email just closed the loop of me thinking of ever moving from Heroku to Render. Comments like this almost *guarantee* bad outages. RESIST THE DUNK!

For folks moving off Heroku: right now, the two leaders IMO are @flydotio and @render. Render is probably most "Heroku-like" in being automatic, but that means less flexibility. Fly tries to do less, so is harder to get started, but is more flexible and an amazing building block.

If you really want to own straight men wouldn't you focus way more on the guys cumming. Intimate close-ups. Contorted faces, twitches. Vulnerable little noises. If you're just shooting attractive actresses climaxing that's more in line with what we're after as an organizing body

“Quiet quitting” already has a name, and it’s called “work-to-rule”, and it’s been a labor protest tactic for decades.

How gendered is the clothing offer for children? For our @SZ data analysis, we examined 20,000 shirts and shorts from @hmdeutschland, @Zalando and @aboutyou_com that they offer online for children under 10. The results show: Current children's fashion cements gender images. 🧵

Has it ever occurred to you that most kids don’t get much of a say in the clothes bought for them by their parents and therefore society has imposed choice on them before they are able to form opinions?

if you have a problem with the student loan cancellation because you already paid off your loans, just pretend its a tax cut for the rich that you also never got but mysteriously didn't complain about.
