I don't get called "PC" often, because I prefer hanging around folks with more imagination. Last time I think my response was "sure, as long as I can install Linux on it. Mac'll do in a pinch. None of that changes the fact that [original topic] was a dick move."

Don't reject the idea of being politically correct, or any of these things. Reject the framing that they even exist in this fashion, in any meaningful way. You believe what you believe. You do what you do. Other people can call it whatever they want. Don't let that change you.

If anyone wants to send me free stuff this pride month I'd be happy to post stuff like "I never felt comfortable in my body until I put on this cool hat" or whatever

I was stuck on a problem and went for a walk, berating myself for procrastinating. Then the answer came to me. How many times do I have to learn this lesson?

TL;DR: for major providers, Terraform does not really need state. My proposal: add a “none” backend that uses the provider APIs as state.

I think about this post a lot. It was in response to Tesco introducing flesh-tone plasters which actually matched people's skin colours. This "default" culture cuts across everything. It defines anyone who isn't a cishet white man as abnormal. Utterly insidious.
