Anyone who uses the phrase "gender ideology" is a transphobe, in the same way that anyone who uses the phrase "gay agenda" is a homophobe. People being gay is not an agenda. People being trans is not an ideology.

Just a reminder: Starbucks could give every one of its 383,000 employees a $5000 bonus check and still keep $1,893,500,000 in net income this year. That’s without raising prices. And yet they’re going to raise prices and are actively firing people for wanting to unionize.

A trans friend asking you to refer to them as their new gender identity isn't really the same as the state compelling speech in this way e.g. Canada and to a lesser extent UK. IMO it would be unfriendly to use the unpreferred pronouns with a friend (except like ze/zir etc.)

Workplace culture is so hard for everyone but especially neurodivergent people How many times have YOU heard “just play the game”? Too much of getting ahead is actually making powerful people feel ok with being mediocre unpleasant unempathetic humans

Post details

Workplace culture explained - P2 🧵 1. It’s considered rude to decline work social events, even if you have a good excuse. A diplomatic way to avoid them is to agree to go, then cancel at the last minute. People care more about you seeming keen to go than you actually attending.
