What is it about technical recruiter brain that makes them go, “sure, they’ve ignored my first 7 emails, but maybe the 8th will be the charm”?

Not sure if you realize how far PHP has come since you wrote those posts. It’s leaps and bounds better than it was, and a fully fledged language, not just a random collection of functions and keywords like your post says. Look at the new PHP 8.1 features for an idea.

In all seriousness, as someone who's worked with multiple languages over the last few decades, modern PHP is nowhere near as bad as people think. It has a terrific ecosystem, and there's a lot of incredibly talented people working with it

So this is 45. I will take it. To all the career returners, the parents, career changers, I fly like this around the world training people how to use robot solutions💫 and to think they once told me I wasn’t tech enough Speak it out loud, then go get it.

After so many years, I learned the format of console logging in Java can be defined in logging properties config file. See docs.oracle.com/en/java/javase… for clear explanation. The "Since 1.4" makes me feel very dumb, but better late than never!

I’m sorry but there’s no hopes of ever being able to occupy a country full of people who just pick up mines and move them while a lit Marlboro dangles from their lips.

Post details

In #Berdyansk, a man removed a mine from under a bridge.

The Bash logo was one of my proudest non-code open source contributions. So cool to see it on popular videos and articles. 😎

This is behind a paywall so I’ve done you all a favour because @caitlinmoran has a brilliant idea that we all, well me anyway, need.
