Given that apparently the Met police “don’t pursue crimes retrospectively”, next time a copper pulls you over and says you were speeding just say “Yeah, but I’m not any more, am I?”

Mitch Benn hates to say he told you so 🇬🇧🇪🇺 (@MitchBenn)Sun, 05 Dec 2021 11:03 GMT

It seems a lot of people in the crypto space have linked their identities to the underlying technology and are unable to discuss things without feeling personally attacked.

People putting .eth in their Twitter usernames is creeping me out. Seems very cult like.

If you're doing #AdventOfCode and learning stuff, but your code's a mess, you got the wrong answer, you're a few days behind, it took you several hours, you're in a language you're not familiar with... All I hear is that you're learning stuff. You're doing great!! 🌟❤️🎄🧑‍🎄

Even after the pandemic, we should normalise not going to work/people's houses/taking public transport while sick. Employers should expect and plan for it. Then we can stay at home and watch some Netflix or read a book while blowing our nose every 2 secs.

Post details

psa: if you're sick, or think it's "just a cold", don't go to someone's house & not tell them this until it’s too late! We’re in the middle of a pandemic. You have no idea who’s health you could be compromising. Just b/c your body can tolerate it, doesn’t mean someone else’s can.

i just learned, from a fucking youtube comment, that 'none' originally exists as a form of 'no' for when the next word starts with a vowel, still preserved in the phrase 'none other'. no/none are exactly analogous to a/an
