ah yes, America, the country where people get offended over pronouns in bio and then turn to mock people for getting angry at a long history of racial discrimination and sexism

It’s called buyers market. They know your worth. YOU … don’t! Guess who’s on the wrong side of the stick. I once almost took 95k. Then didn’t. Found out later a colleague was offered 115k for same job! Same qualifications!

I have a jobby: a job that happens to pay me to do my hobby. The upside is it makes work (a shitty concept, ask any other animals) bearable and sometimes fun! The downside is I really enjoy my hobby, which makes it harder to set boundaries with work.

The fact that so many people hate AMP the $3 iOS plugin to get rid of it is #1 in the app store is kind of an incredible sign of what a bad technology it is. Thank you, Google, for thrusting “technology so awful we’ll pay $3 to get rid of it” upon us.

all the cool tech in the world is still unethical if the profits from it are used to subsidize providing free service to neo-Nazis and transphobes because of the founder's strange ideological bent.

One final point: Now let’s remember that the internet is 1-to-many. If 1 million people download that 1GB this month, my cost with @cloudflare R2 this way rounds up to 13¢. With @awscloud S3 it’s $59,247.52. THAT is why people are losing their minds over this.
