The "CAP Theorem" refers to a theory some developers have about if a distributed system would wear a hat, and if so, what kind of hat would it wear

Don't be afraid to ask "why are we're doing that?" at work. I do it quite a lot. It helps me understand the requirements for a story I've not been close to, or it helps me understand what a team are working that might affect me, or just gets me their point of view. Always ask.
