I’d say it is open source if the license says it is. You can disagree with a project’s governance model, but that doesn’t mean the source isn’t open.

Well I mean there's no need to gate keep my dude. It's perfectly fine to be open source and never allow anyone to ever contribute.

Certainly wasn’t the May 9th wedding we had dreamed of, but we found a (very) remote spot outside, propped out a camera and a tripod, and got married. It was a pretty perfect day 😊. Like true tech nerds, we’re calling it our “soft launch” until a real wedding 😆

"I don't have time to write tests". Do you have time to: 1. Run the app manually after each change 2. Investigate and fix broken builds 3. Investigate and fix QA errors 4. Investigate and fix production errors Add all that up. Writing automated tests *saves* time.Cory House (@housecor)Sat, 09 May 2020 12:03 +0000

I think everyone should write ~1000 words a day¹ for the rest of their careers. Private journal, code comments, design docs, public blogposts. It doesn't matter what you write. You'll figure it out. Tomorrow I'll livestream writing "Why You Should Write". ¹ days off are fine!Post details
