Something I think a lot about is how it's possible that modern weapons tech is any good. It just strains credulity that these organizations can produce anything complex that functions, using an entirely secret development process on proprietary everything. I don't understand.

Really does annoy me how people with money conceptualise and try to recast themselves as struggling, poor or in poverty - when there are people out there who can’t afford food, or shoes, or school uniform, or to repay debts, or to pay for a TV licence. And they have no solution.

Poverty is one of those things where you have absolutely no idea what it actually is until you have lived it, with no means of escape, with no one around you to help, no one to lend you anything, no one holding a door open for you, and no one interested in saving you from it.
