It's due to the way that Bridgy syndicates articles 🤔 it takes the sharing metadata photo, which defaults to my face. Not sure if there's a way of tweaking it 🤔

Cancelling a subscription in protest is the only way consumers can make their voices heard. It's not "cancel culture". It's called capitalism. The very thing most of these right-wing podcasters advocate for. And guess what, the pressure is working.

One thing to consider (because I’ve been guilty of it as an IC) is that you can’t just use your minimum with a ton of three day weekends - you’ve go to have at least a whole week per year of contiguous pto too :)

Pulumi's PTO policy is now a three week *minimum*, plus a company-wide week off each summer and winter. This is rad and I'd love to see more companies adopting a similar policy rather than just "unlimited PTO," where employees might not feel like they can actually take time off.

Tech interview antipattern: interviewer springs a “so do you have any questions for us” to the candidate after a long coding session or when there are like 5 mins left. IMO this should be a whole separate, no-holds barred conversation, if the technical rounds went well.Cindy Sridharan (@copyconstruct)Mon, 07 Feb 2022 19:04 GMT
